Residential energy management solutions
Home energy storage systems, often referred to as home or residential energy storage systems, are designed to store electricity for home use.

These systems consist of batteries and inverters that allow energy to be stored from a variety of sources, such as solar panels. The main objective of these installations is to increase the efficiency of home energy systems, reduce electricity costs and provide an uninterrupted and reliable supply of power.

Excess energy produced during the day can be stored and used in the evening or in the event of a grid failure, reducing the household's dependence on the electricity grid. New applications such as participation in VPP (virtual power plant) can further increase the profitability of residential systems.

How a residential energy storage system works
We can think of a home energy storage system as a rechargeable battery. Electricity generated from various sources, such as solar panels among others, is used to charge this battery in the form of direct current (DC).

To make the energy available for most home appliances, it is later transformed through a power conversion system into alternating current (AC), which is used by most electronic devices at home. The main source of energy for battery charging is the surplus energy generated during periods of high production and low demand.
