Green Energy Trading: celebrating 20 years!

Green Energy Trading is a well-established company with a 20-year history that has grown dynamically from its origins in advertising to a leading player in the renewable energy sector.

We are an authorized distributor of the world's leading brands such as Canadian Solar Inc., Jolywood Solar and KSTAR.

Our product range includes a wide selection of solar panels, inverters, battery systems and structures from globally recognized manufacturers such as Astronergy Solar , Amerisolar, Risen Energy, PHONO Solar, Dyness, SolaX Power, GoodWe and many others.

Twenty key moments:

• 2005: On 14 April 2005, EURO TRADE AGENCY s.r.o. was founded and owned by Jaroslav Růžička and Josef Škorpík. The company focused on advertising, publishing and printing and trade in packaging materials.

• 2008: Jaroslav Růžička started in 2008 with a group of entrepreneurs to develop a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 3.5 MWh on an area of 5 ha in Hrušovany nad Jevišovkou and became active in photovoltaic projects.

• 2010: the company was renamed Green Energy Trading s.r.o. to better reflect its focus on advising investors in the construction of photovoltaic power plants in the Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria and Hungary.

• 2017: the company started selling solar panels and other components.

• 2021: Following a strategic decision, we started to supply panels in large, containerized quantities.

• 2022: In response to growing demand, we expanded our product range to include solar inverters, battery storage and mounting systems.

• 2022: We launched B2B sales.

• March 2023: We established cooperation with the renowned Chinese company Jolywood.

• March 2023: We received the prestigious AAA certificate from Dun & Bradstreet confirming our excellent financial stability and business quality.

• July 2023: We demand iFIX construction systems.

• September 2023: We open a new office in Nuremberg for the German, Austrian and Swiss markets.

• October 2023: We set up a new office in Sofia to support customers from Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and Turkey.

• April 2024: We won second place in the South Moravian Region in the Diamonds of Czech Business competition.

• April 2024: We established cooperation with Aerocompact, a company specialising in assembly systems.

• June 2024: We visited the manufacturers Canadian Solar and Jolywood in China, where we saw the production processes directly in the manufacturing plants.

• June 2024: We attended Intersolar Europe 2024 in Munich, where we deepened our cooperation with Astronergy.

• July 2024: We translated our website into other languages: English, German, Bulgarian, Polish, Romanian and Ukrainian.

• November 2024: We became the official KSTAR distributor for the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

• December 2024: The successful SolaX training was followed by a St. Nicholas Day event with Green Energy Trading in our showroom.

• April 2025: We became an official authorized distributor of Jolywood. During the two years of cooperation, we sold more than 20 containers with a capacity of over 5.8 MW.
